6/22/2021 – Celebrating 35 Years by Kathi Dunlap

Yesterday I (Kathi) celebrated my 35th wedding anniversary with my husband, Vern.  We were married on the longest day of the year on possibly the hottest day of the decade!  It was a simple wedding with many meaningful moments for us and, most of all, it was a sacred committing of our lives to each other in the eyes of God.

It's been a great ride!  We've traveled together, laughed together, raised a beautiful growing family together.  We've worshipped and taught side by side, we've had great friends and lovely homes, and lots of work to keep us busy and focused.  We are friends and I'm so very thankful to the Lord for that.

June is, of course, wedding month and probably many folks are celebrating one anniversary or another.  We wish you many happy years together - God bless you all!
